Wisconsin Supper Club Beer Batter Mix
Here’s an easy, gift-worthy version of my Wisconsin Supper Club Beer Batter Fried Fish. This mix is a cute, thoughtful, and affordable gift for really any time of the year, but with father’s day coming up, and if the dads in your life are anything like my husband, this gift is sure to please.

Materials
For the beer batter mix labels
- The Free Download
- Avery 22087 Round Labels (for the sticker on top)
- nice cardstock (this is for the instructions)
To make the batter
- mixing bowl
- mason jar that is 16 oz (or 500 ml).
Making the Gift
- In a medium-size bowl put in all the ingredients and whisk them all together.
- Pour the contents (carefully) into a mason jar.
- Print the labels and instruction cards
- Place the label on top then tie the instruction cards onto the jar.
- Your gift is ready!

Description
The lightest and crispiest Beer Batter Mix recipe. The baking powder and carbonation in the beer make the fish batter delicate and puffy, just like a good ole fashioned Supper Club. Makes a great gift for any fish fry lover in your life.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a medium-size bowl put in the flour, black pepper, salt, garlic and onion powder, baking powder, and cayenne pepper. Then whisk them all together.
- Pour the contents into a mason jar of your choice
- Print the labels and instruction cards, then tie the instruction cards onto the jar.
- Your gift is ready!
