Description
S’mores dessert platters are a delightful and simple way to upgrade this traditional camping favorite.
Ingredients
Graham crackers, I’ve also seen chocolate-covered Graham Cracker squares, and they have become a fav in this house for S’mores.
Cookies: Oreos, chocolate chip, oatmeal, fudge striped, and pretty much any Girl Scout cookie (or store version of GSC) works.
Marshmallows, I mean it’s not a s’more without marshmallows!
Chocolate bars (Any chocolate is great! Dark, milk, cookies + cream, white, or ruby will work.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are amazing for this!
Fruit (if you want to try to tell yourself it’s “healthy” you could use any type of berries, apples, or pears. Just make sure your slice them, it’s easier to eat)
Peanut butter (or other kinds of nut butter).
Instructions
- Arrange chosen ingredients (from above) on the platter or tray of choice in a fun/pretty way (think of it like art, so honestly whatever you think is perfect. Remember, art is subjective).
- If you choose peanut butter, scoop some into a small bowl/ramekin and tuck it into the platter with a cute butter knife for spreading.
- Place skewers down along the sides of the platter or tray. I like these extendable roasting sticks because I can use them at our tiny gas fireplace or a camping fire and they work great for both! They’re also really inexpensive and easy to store away. You can also use the heavy-duty ones for hot dogs as well.
