Description

This Vanilla Latte Protein Drink only requires two ingredients, not including the ice: espresso and a vanilla protein drink. It yields one 20 oz drink or two 10oz drinks.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 11 1/2 oz Protein Shake (of your choice)
  • 2 shots espresso (about 3oz)

Instructions

To Make 2 Coffee Drinks

  1. Do the following twice:
  2. Make your espresso/coffee (I can make 2 shots at once with mine, but if you need make one at a time)
  3. Pour 1 shot over ice-filled in a 10 oz glass
  4. Pour half of the protein shake over the ice and coffee.

To Make 1 Large Coffee Drink

  1. Make your espresso/coffee (I can make 2 shots at once with mine, but if you need make one at a time)
  2. Pour both shots over ice-filled in a 20 oz glass
  3. Pour all of the protein shake over the ice and coffee.

Notes

  • If you don’t have an espresso machine, of course, you can use coffee… Although the flavor profile won’t be the same, I’m definitely not going to tell you that you 100% MUST have an espresso machine. If you use Coffee Pot Coffee, you will need 1-2 cups depending on how strong you like your coffee drink.
  • If you use protein powder you will need to mix it with milk and make the equivalent of 11.5 oz of liquid. The protein drink I use has 30-g of protein in the drink.
  • Be sure to use a boldly flavored dark roast coffee, since the protein shake and ice will dilute the drink.
