Description
This fun play on Garlic Bread adds Colby Jack Cheese, and a delicious garlic butter-cream cheese mixture, on top of chewy french bread.

- 1 Loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup one stick salted butter softened
- 8 oz of cream cheese softened
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 garlic cloves grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 oz Colby jack cheese shredded
- fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425° F.
- Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place them on top of a lined baking sheet
- In a mixing bowl combine softened butter & cream cheese, onion powder, grated garlic, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread. Top with Colby Jack cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes at the end, to give it a more crisp and browned top.
- Top with the fresh chopped parsley.
- Slice into easy-to-grab sizes and serve on your favorite platter/cutting board.

- Everything should be at room temp. Trust me! This will not go well if you attempt to pull your butter and cream cheese straight out of the
- A hand mixer makes quick work, but it’s not necessary. Simply mixing by hand works too.
