A Few Quick Notes:
- I‘m 5’8″ and have a pant inseam of 35-36 inches (depending on the shoe)
- My clothes vary on where I get them. Some are from re-sale shops and antique shops. Others are brand-new items (I try to stick with local stores, but I will shop online as well).
- My style leans towards classic and uses new trends as an addition rather than a wardrobe update.

Large Bow Tie
This outfit is perfect for work, church, or something where you need to be a little more put together. A white button-up blouse, cerulean blue high-waisted (wide-legged Pants), a black waist-length black “pea coat” style jacket, and the Sari Medley Scarf tied in a bow tie style, create a fun and classic look.
Classic Half-Fold Loop
This is a classic outfit. I especially love wearing this during these colder times of the year. A tan cashmere sweater with a cozy long black skirt is perfect to be able to add that bright pop of color that the Sari Medley Scarf adds. This is one of the easiest ways; the scarf is folded in half and pulled through the loop.
Fan Bow
Any time I can go out of the norm I will. And shorts in the fall/winter are definitely in that category. I love this mix of mustard yellow shorts, with a dark forest green sweater and black tights. This is my favorite way to tie a scarf, especially the Sari Medley Scarf. The fan technique isn’t hard to accomplish. Go to my 4 Ways to Wear the Sari Scarf Blog Post where I explain in detail how to tie the fan bow, or scroll down and see the video tutorial I did for Darn Good Yarn.

Draped
Yes, another “shorts in the fall/winter” outfit. Why not? I personally love to wear shorts in the cooler weather months. With this outfit, I went simple with my color palette to showcase the Sari Medley Scarf. Black long-sleeved shirt, matching red cardigan and shorts, and black tights. A nice cream-colored bag breaks up all the dark. The Sari Medley Scarf is just simply draped over to showcase all the fun colors and beautiful strips of silk.
